Background
In recent times, the
emergence and development of information technology has indeed brought a lot of
changes in all aspects of peoples' lives with significant improvement on public
awareness on the environment, thus making the world to become a global village
where information is received on any happening from any part of the globe with
much speed and within shortest possible time. Different individuals and
corporate bodies are therefore struggling to establish social media outfits
with different motives through which they keep their audiences abreast of the
major happenings around them and even beyond. This is with the aim of
educating, enlightening. And entertaining the audiences so that they would be
kept informed of what is happening around the globe.
It is out of this desire
that Abubakar Ayuba Masanawa conceive the idea of establishing an online Radio
in order to disseminate accurate information to the public on happenings that
aim to shape people's perception on matters affecting their lives. This is also
with the aim of neutralizing wrong and distorted information which often
mislead and create confusion among the general public.

ESTABLISHMENT
Danmasani Radio which is a subsidiary of A&Z Multimedia Company was established on 26th of April, 2022 In Katsina City by Abubakar Ayuba Masanawa, who was the grandson of Waliyi Danmasani. Danmasani Radio derives it name from the popular Islamic Scholar in Katsina called Waliyi Danmasani, whose contribution to Islamic jurisprudence in the ancient Katsina Kingdom and beyond placed and continue to place Katsina as one of the major centres of teaching and learning of Islamic knowledge in the entire West African Sub region.
